Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how EntertainTech Solutions LLC collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Car Widgets app for iPhone. It is written to clearly describe our data practices for Apple App Review and for our users.

1. Who we are

Car Widgets is operated by EntertainTech Solutions LLC. For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@blowy.tech.

2. On-device by design

Car Widgets has no user accounts and no application backend of its own. Your speed readings, trip records, chosen car theme, and settings are stored locally on your device and, so that widgets and the app can share them, in an Apple App Group container on the same device. We do not upload this content to servers operated by EntertainTech Solutions LLC.

3. Information we collect

• Location (GPS). While you are actively using the dashboard or drive mode, the app reads your device’s precise location to calculate your current speed and trip statistics (distance, time, average speed). This processing happens on your device.
• Usage and diagnostics. Aggregated, non-identifying app-usage events (for example, opening a screen or starting a trip) and crash and performance diagnostics, collected through the third-party services listed below.
• Device and advertising identifiers. Device-level information (such as device model, operating system version, and identifiers including the Identifier for Advertisers/IDFA) used for analytics, install attribution, and advertising measurement, subject to your tracking choice (see section 6).
• Subscription status. Whether you hold an active subscription, managed through Apple and our subscription provider. We never receive your full payment card details.
• Support information. Anything you voluntarily send us by email.

4. How we use information

• To show your live GPS speed, HUD drive mode, and trip statistics, and to power home-screen and lock-screen widgets.
• To apply your selected car-brand theme across the app and widgets.
• To operate and improve the app, understand feature usage, and fix crashes.
• To measure the performance of our marketing and app installs, and to deliver and measure advertising, subject to your tracking choice.
• To manage subscriptions, unlock premium features, and restore purchases.

5. Location, specifically

Location access is requested only when the speedometer needs it, and only as “While Using the App.” The app does not use background location tracking. Location is used to compute speed and trip data on your device. We do not sell your location, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

6. Advertising and App Tracking Transparency

On first use we ask, through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt, whether you allow tracking across other companies’ apps and websites. If you decline, the advertising identifier (IDFA) is not used to track you. Your choice can be changed at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

7. Third-party services

We use the following services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Apple — App Store, in-app subscriptions, and platform services. apple.com/legal/privacy

8. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your trip or location data with advertisers or data brokers. Information is shared only with the service providers named above to the extent needed to run analytics, attribution, advertising measurement, and subscriptions, or where required by law.

9. Data retention

Speed, trip, theme, and settings data remain on your device until you delete a trip, reset the app, or uninstall it. Data handled by the third-party services above is retained according to their respective policies. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to help you.

10. Your choices and rights

• Revoke location access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services.
• Change your tracking choice in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• Delete your on-device data by deleting trips, resetting, or uninstalling the app.
• Depending on your region (for example under GDPR or CCPA), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. See also our Data Deletion page.

11. Children’s privacy

Car Widgets is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data and limit unnecessary access. No system is completely secure, but we work to safeguard the information involved.

13. International users

The third-party services we use may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, such transfers rely on the safeguards described in those providers’ privacy policies.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material updates will be reflected by changing the “Last updated” date on this page.
