These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the FishCrew app for iPhone (the "App") and the FishCrew invite pages, operated by EntertainTech Solutions LLC ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What the App does

The App reads the length of a fish from a photo of it on a measuring board, keeps a personal log of your catches, and runs a weekly table for your crew and a general League table. It can also show a statewide size check and let you share catch cards.

2. Measurements are readings, not official records

• Lengths are read from photos by an AI model and our code. They can be wrong. Each one shows how it was measured: read off the board, points you placed yourself, or an estimate without a board, which can be off by around 15%.
• Estimated weight is worked out from the length, is always shown with "≈", and never ranks anything.
• Length categories, including "trophy", are the App's own scoring labels. Nothing in the App is an official record, a certified measurement, or a tournament result.
• FishCrew is an independent product. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any state wildlife agency, tournament, or record-keeping organization.

3. The size check and fishing rules

Where we have verified it, the App tells you whether a fish is above the statewide minimum, with the source and the date we checked it. Special rules may apply on your water, including slot limits, creel limits, seasons, local rules and rules that have changed since we checked. The size check does not tell you whether you may keep a fish. You are solely responsible for your license and for following every fishing law and regulation that applies to you, and for handling fish responsibly.

Pay attention to where you are when you use the App. Don't take risks on the water for a photo.

4. Who can use the App

• If you are 13 or older you can use the whole App. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian should review these Terms with you.
• If you say you are under 13, crews, invites, profiles and the League are switched off, and you can only measure and keep a personal log, with the permission of a parent or guardian. Please answer the age question truthfully.

5. Your account

The App has no password. Your account is tied to the App on your device, and a transfer code moves it to a new phone. Keep that code private: anyone who has it can take the account. You are responsible for what happens under your handle.

6. Community rules

You agree not to post, as a photo, handle, display name or crew name, anything that is:

• sexually explicit, violent or gory beyond an ordinary catch, hateful, harassing or threatening;
• unlawful, or anything that exploits or endangers a child;
• a photo of someone who hasn't agreed to be in it, or anything that exposes someone's personal information;
• something you don't have the right to use, or an impersonation of someone else;
• spam or advertising.

You also agree not to:

• cheat: submit a fish you didn't catch, a screenshot, a composite or edited photo, a reused photo, or a false measurement, or try to get around the photo code or the attestation;
• use the App to bully other people, including through disputes;
• use the App to run bets or wagers;
• reverse engineer, scrape, overload or interfere with the App or our servers, except where the law allows it, or get around the App's limits, including by automating requests.

7. Reporting, blocking and enforcement

• You can report any user or catch photo and block any user in the App. Handles, display names and crew names pass through an automatic filter, and photos through an automated check, but automatic checks miss things and we rely on your reports too.
• A reported photo is hidden from you straight away. Two reports from different people hide it from everyone except its owner until we review it.
• We can remove content, and we can restrict or close an account that breaks these Terms.
• Removing a photo doesn't change the catch's place on a table. A dispute is the tool for a wrong measurement.

8. Your photos and content

You keep ownership of the photos and text you add. You give us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process and display them only to run the App: to measure catches using our AI service providers, to show them to the people described in our Privacy Policy, and to moderate them. This license ends when the content is deleted. You confirm that you have the right to use what you submit.

9. Crews, tables and disputes

• Crew rules, scoring, closing times and disputes work as shown in the App. Weeks run in the crew's own time zone, and a closed week does not change, except that deleting an account removes that person's rows.
• Crew owners decide disputes and can remove members. If the owner caught the fish or opened the dispute, the longest-standing other member decides. If there is nobody left to decide, the catch stays, labelled "disputed". These are the crew's decisions, not ours, and we don't referee them.
• Anyone who has an invite link can see the crew's current table on the web, as described in our Privacy Policy. Share it accordingly.
• The App offers no prizes.

10. Free features and FishCrew Pro

Joining any crew, the League table and board measurements are free, subject to fair-use limits. You can also create one crew of up to 4 members and keep a 30-day log for free. FishCrew Pro adds several crews with up to 50 members, crew seasons and season history, a full log with records and export, and catch card themes. If a subscription ends, you keep the crews and members you have; they just can't grow.

11. Subscriptions and payment

• Plans. FishCrew Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, offered as an annual or a weekly plan. We may also offer a discounted annual price in the App. The exact price is shown before you confirm the purchase. There is no free trial.
• Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. All payments are processed by Apple; we never receive your payment card details.
• Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. Deleting the App or your FishCrew account does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Price changes. If a subscription price changes, Apple will notify you in advance as required, and where required you will be asked to agree to the new price before it applies.

12. Apple Standard EULA

The App is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Standard EULA"): apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. These Terms add to the Standard EULA; if they conflict, the Standard EULA controls to the extent of the conflict. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it.

13. Intellectual property

The App, its design, illustrations, texts and software are owned by EntertainTech Solutions LLC or its licensors and are protected by law. Except for the license granted by the Standard EULA, no rights are transferred to you.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

The App and all measurements are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, including about the accuracy of any measurement, size check or table, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability of the App.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EntertainTech Solutions LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on a measurement or size check, including decisions about keeping or releasing a fish, fines, or entries into tournaments or record books. We are not responsible for what other people post or do. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not fully apply to you.

16. Ending your use

You can stop using the App and delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms.

17. Changes to the App and these Terms

We may change, suspend or discontinue features of the App. We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected by changing the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your country of residence requires otherwise.
